At Expertware, we design and deliver complex IT solutions in areas such as cybersecurity, AI, managed IT services, and enterprise infrastructure for organizations across Western Europe.
We are expanding our team and are looking for a Solutions Sales Engineer who will directly contribute to winning new projects by turning business opportunities into viable technical solutions and competitive proposals.
This is a hybrid technical-commercial role, where you will actively influence the sales process from the early opportunity stage and contribute to converting it into a signed contract.

What you will do

  • Analyze business opportunities and client requirements (RFP, RFQ, direct discussions).
  • Define technical solutions and commercial approaches that support winning new contracts.
  • Work closely with technical teams to build realistic, competitive proposals aligned with client needs.
  • Contribute to effort, cost, and resource estimation for the proposed solutions.
  • Actively participate in client discussions, supporting the technical side of the sales process and presenting proposed solutions.
  • Adjust proposals based on client feedback and the dynamics of the commercial process.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of internal sales engineering and proposal processes.

What we are looking for

  • Experience in IT (pre-sales, sales engineering, technical consulting, or similar roles).
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions (cybersecurity, infrastructure, cloud, or software development).
  • Experience working with clients and commercial opportunities.
  • Ability to translate technical requirements into business-value-driven solutions.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on winning opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple concurrent opportunities.
